Get paid what you're owed.
On time. Every valuation.
PayCycle keeps every application for payment, works out the dates that matter under the Construction Act, and flags when you've been short-paid — so nothing slips, and you've got the working to back up every claim.
Illustrative dashboard
Built around the contracts and rules you already work under
You did the work. Getting paid for it shouldn't be the hard part.
You're not sure what's been certified
Applications go in and the answer comes back light — or late — and you only find out weeks down the line.
You get paid late, or short
Late payment is the number-one cashflow killer in construction. A few hundred held back on each valuation adds up fast.
A pay less notice slips past
The window to act is short. Miss it and the deduction stands, whether it was right or not.
Year-end is a carrier bag of paper
Applications, statements and CIS deductions scattered across emails, texts and the van — rebuilt every March.
From application to paid — without the chasing
Less chasing. Clearer money. Fewer surprises.
See what you're owed, live
Every job in one place — what you applied for, what's been certified, and what you're still owed — updated as each notice comes in.
Short-payment, flagged
The moment a payment notice lands under what you applied for, PayCycle shows it — and by exactly how much — with the date it landed.
Apply your way
Type it in, upload your PDF, or snap a photo on site. PayCycle keeps the line items and the total.
Payment & pay less dates
The due date, final date for payment and pay less window for every application — from your contract, on one calendar.
Retention tracked
Retention held and both release moieties — at practical completion and the end of defects — kept in view.
CIS handled
Labour deductions tracked as they happen, plus a year-end CIS-suffered summary — so the figures are right.
Payments & remittances
Record what's actually landed against each application, so you always know what's still outstanding.
A record that holds up
Every application, notice and payment, dated and saved — the working behind each claim if it ever goes to adjudication.
Cashflow across jobs
What's due, what's late and what's coming — across every project, not buried in one spreadsheet per site.
Reminders before each date
Alerts that arrive while there's still time to act, sorted by what's due next.
No pay less notice in time, and the notified sum is the amount that must be paid.
Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, section 111 — paraphrased. Most subbies never claim that protection because the dates slip by. PayCycle tracks the dates for you; every notice is checked and acted on by you.
Every payment date, from your contract
Lock the terms once and every application gets its dates mapped — due date, the pay less window and the final date for payment — so you always know when the money is owed.
- Dates calculated from the terms you lock
- The pay less window highlighted on every application
- Works with JCT, NEC, purchase orders and custom terms
Alerts that arrive while you can still act
Deadlines are only useful before they pass. PayCycle puts every payment date on your calendar and reminds you ahead of each one — with time to chase, query or act.
- Every payment date on one calendar
- Reminders before each window closes
- Sorted by what's due next, across all your jobs
Illustrative reminders — yours follow your contract dates.
Built by a QS who's chased the same payments you have
PayCycle is built in the UK by a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, around JCT and NEC contracts and the Construction Act. It exists because chasing money that's already yours shouldn't be the hardest part of the job — and the AI only ever suggests, so you decide every figure that goes out.
Questions, answered straight
Do I need to change how I apply?
No. Keep applying however you do now — email a PDF, hand over paper, or photograph it on site. PayCycle captures it and does the tracking; the tool fits around you, not the other way round.
What if the main contractor won't use anything?
They don't need to. PayCycle is your record of what you applied for, what came back and when — and the dates the Construction Act sets. It works whether or not anyone on the other side touches a screen.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes — it's built mobile-first and works fully in your phone's browser, with nothing to install. Snap a photo of an application or a notice on site and it's in. Native apps are on the roadmap.
What does it cost?
One flat subscription with £0 per-claim fees, and every plan starts with a 14-day free trial. The plans are on the pricing page.
Is this legal advice?
No. PayCycle tracks your dates and figures and drafts the paperwork for you to check — every notice is reviewed and issued by you. For advice on a dispute, speak to a construction lawyer.
